There are a lot of jumping games out there, and dozens that let you bounce upwards to collect coins and the like. Chocohero from Com2uS switches things up a bit by letting you go down instead of up, and it’s quite a bit of fun as well. Your job in Chocohero is to help Chipster save his friends and the world as you free-fall through the magical land of Smoresdom. You’ll need to rescue the innocent Chocobits from the Cakems before the milk hits and it’s going to be a fast-paced trippy ride. When the game starts, you start falling and you’ll want to tilt your device left to right to control Chipster and guide him towards the Cakems. You basically want to break through the Cakems which vary in strength and react different when you hit them; there are also plenty of coins, power-ups, stars, and friends to collect as you speed downwards trying to escape the milk and free your friends. There isn’t much as far as extras are concerned, but there are several upgrades you can buy with your coins earned during gameplay.
Chocohero is a nice quick-play game with a funky style. It’s going to require fast reflexes and a little practice to get the hang of things, but it’s definitely worth a look if you enjoy games of this nature. Chocohero isn’t going to “WOW” you with its deep gameplay or a compelling storyline, but it is good for some quick fun. If you want to give it a shot, you can pick up Com2uS’s Chocohero for free on Google Play.
