Since they first entered the market Full Fat Productions has let gamers flick footballs, soccer balls, and golf balls. This week they gave folks something else to flick with their newest Android game called Flick Nations Rugby. If you’ve played any of Full Fat’s other flick sports games you’ll have no issue getting down to business in Flick Nations Rugby as the gameplay formula stays the same. There are quite a few game modes to choose from this time around with Basic Skills, Pressure Play, Kick to Touch, Time Attack, Hit the Goalposts, and Kick to Touch Pro. You’re also given the choice to play as one of 15 different nations; they don’t have everyone’s flag, but most of the top Rugby nations are represented. Rounding things out you get full stat tracking for every game mode and a nice set of achievements.
Even though I had hoped to see some kind of flick baseball game from Full Fat, I’m pretty happy with Flick Nations Rugby as it’s a welcome change from flicking footballs and golf balls. It’s not a deep game, but it is a solid flicking game that fans of Rugby or Full Fat’s games should enjoy. There is no free version of the game available to try, but the full version of Flick Nations Rugby can be picked up on Google Play for only $0.99 cents.
