The Samsung devices are the center of attention now a days, that is precisely why we see a lot of leaks and rumors regarding them. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has seen its fair share of photo leaks and rumors, thanks to the illicit information we already had a great idea how the tablet will turn out. Samsung finally decided to confirm most of the rumors today in a press release and officially announce the 8 inch tablet. Fortunately the Galaxy Note 8.0 is everything we want from a smaller Galaxy Note 10.1. For many the giant size was not optimal for travel and quick meetings, yet they desired to use the S-Pen functionality. The Galaxy Note 8.0 gracefully fills the gap between the 7 inch and 10 inched Samsung tablets. This will be perfect for all the hip students and people on the go. Compact size, great features and most of all the inclusion of S-Pen makes the Galaxy Note 8.0 a highly desirable secondary tablet for many. The Galaxy Note 8.0 will also be able to make phone calls in some select countries, while the 8 inch size is by no means ideal for a phone; many people will still like to have the option. As for specs the Galaxy Note 8.0 will be housing a 1.6 GHz quad core Exynos processor, coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The display is an 8 inch WXGA one, coming at 1280 x 800 resolution at 189 ppi. While the screen may not be outstanding, the tablet will look pleasant to the eyes. The Galaxy Note 8.0 has either 32 or 64 GB of internal storage, depending on the model, additional storage can be added with microSD card slot. The tablet will weigh 338 grams and boast a 4,600 mAh battery. We will get some hands on time with Samsung’s new tablet at MWC, and will update you if something stands out.
