Google Drive Android app gets new features but no mobile editing yet

Google has just pushed some nice tweaks to Google Drive for Android. Although failing in comparison with the app’s iOS version which now includes mobile editing of documents, it’s still is a welcome development to the app. Google Drive for Android in case you’re not aware is Google’s way of enticing you to use its document in the cloud service. With the app you can store all your files in one place and access them from anywhere using your Android devices and desktop as well. So the updated Google Drive for Android now lets you add comments, reply to existing comments and view tablets in your Google documents. Similar to the iPhone version of the app, you will also now be able to view presentations and organize your stuff. The app’s complete change log is as follow:

  1. Create folder, upload to folder and move to folder
  2. Filter folder contents by file type
  3. Option to auto-sync pinned content while on 3G
  4. Richer Google Presentations viewing experience
  5. Basic table support in Documents Editor
  6. Create, reply and resolve comments in Documents Editor
  7. View and change fonts in Documents Editor
  8. Pinch to zoom in Documents Editor
  9. Print files using Google Cloud Print
  10. Option to resume interrupted uploads
