We’ve already heard a decent amount of information regarding the upcoming Google Nexus Prime — the successor to the Nexus S and flagship developer device running Ice Cream Sandwich. According to a few exclusive reports by BGR, the Nexus Prime will feature an immense and impressive 4.5 inch display with a 720p display. Perhaps equally as impressive is its processor — a dual-core 1.5GHz OMAP4460. A new report out of Electronics Times, a Korean based newspaper, claims that the Nexus Prime will launch in October 2011. Google typically launches the Nexus devices in time for the Holiday season, so an October launch makes sense. At this time, we still have no idea which OEM has been granted the privilege to manufacture the Nexus Prime, but I’m sure we’ll hear more rumors and leaks as October approaches.
