Google transforms Google Docs Android app to Google Drive

Finally, after getting hyped for several days now, Google unveiled its new cloud storage and file sharing service – Google Drive. Much like Dropbox, Box.net and others Google Drive is a free web service that lets you store all your files in one place and access them from anywhere and anytime as well as share them with anyone. Now, Google Drive will not be successful if you can’t use it while on the move, right? Since Google Drive is closely tied up with Google Docs, Google has updated the Google Docs Android app and turns it into what is now called Google Drive Android app. That said, Google Drive Android app lets you access your photos, documents, videos and other files stored in your Google Drive account.
