Google's Blogger Platform Gets its Own Android App

by On February 4, 2011

Several years ago, I started blogging using Google’s Blogger platform (blogspot.com).  Most of the bloggers I know started their blogging career using that service. Then came WordPress and other blogging platform. Blogger remained alive with loyal users hanging by their old blogs and keeping the fire alive. If you’re one of them, you’ll be glad to know that Google has just released an Android app specifically for Blogger. The Blogger Android app is a pretty simple app that lets you easily compose a post, attach a photo that you took using your Android phone’s camera, and either save it as a local draft for publishing later on or immediately publish it to your blog. The app is available now from the Android Market for free. Despite its simplicity, the Blogger Android app still boasts of some nice features such as as multiple accounts and blogs support, assign labels to post, photo sharing, location sharing, list view for saved and published posts. So, are you still using Blogger for personal or business blogging? Have you downloaded the Blogger Android app? How do you find the Android app so far?
