Hail to the King, Make That Monkey King!
I bet you never heard about THL and their Monkey King prior to reading this. Because, sure as Hell, I didn’t, and I spend most of my life on the internet, scouting for gadgets and tech news. Also, I’m not too thrilled about monkeys, they seem creepy and dirty, not to be trusted. To be honest, I don’t have much respect for Chinese companies, and THL is, as you might have guessed, a Chinese/Taiwanese(basically, the same thing) company. Regardless, taking a closer look at THL, they are an obvious rip-off after the Taiwanese HTC company, including their designs and even the logo, which is a stylized HTC, with other letters. I find that amusing, I don’t know why, it’s like Sunny or Panasonig, if you ever encountered these flea-market brands before. Joke aside, THL just released a product which will catch your attention, if you’re into Android stuff and especially into bargains. Their latest smartphone is called the Monkey King and it comes with some pretty impressive specs and at an unbelievable price. Actually, it’s a deal, it’s a steal, it’s sale of the bloody century! Check this out : the THL Monkey King is powered by a quad core MT6589 processor, comes with 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory and, wow, two 13 Megapixels cameras. Yes, you got that right, both cameras, the one on the front and the other on the back, feature a cool 13 Megapixels sensor. The display is an 1080p full HD resolution touch screen and the build quality is awesome, if you believe the editors from PCPOP. The phone is not yet available for the US market but if it will ever be, check this out: the Monkey King costs only $280, I mean, how cool is that folks? Its funky name comes from a Chinese novel, where the Monkey King is an important character. The rest is a very good copy of HTC, and HTC should feel very good about themselves, since imitation is a form of flattery if you think about it. Source : PCOPOP
