Another week, another Zombie game and this time it’s Plight of the Zombies from Spark Plug Games. Plight of the Zombies is a bit different from the rest of the games out there though as you won’t kill the Zombie masses, instead you’re going to help them out… There aren’t many things certain in life besides Death, Taxes, and the fact that someday we’re going to see the Zombie Apocalypse. Now when this happens you may end up as one of the undead and you’re obviously going to be hungry. Plight of the Zombies puts your unending hunger on display as you’ll have to guide zombies to their dinner which consists of brains and humans. Things start out fairly simple, but as the game progresses you really have to think as you’re confronted by gun toting civilians and brains that expire if you don’t get to them in time. I haven’t done a full level count yet, but there seems to be quite a few of them and there’s also a shop where you can buy gear to spruce your zombies up a bit.
Plight of the Zombies isn’t just another Zombie game as it takes a unique approach to things and it’s been a blast to play so far. It’s also a good looking game and runs as smooth as silk on the few different devices I tested it on. If ya’ dig Zombies or enjoy a good puzzler I highly recommend you check this one out.
