by On October 7, 2011

Previously announced as a Xperia Play exclusive, Minecraft Pocket Edition is now also available for other Android devices. That’s right folks, this addictive game is finally available from the Android Market and you can go ahead waste several hours of your weekend playing it on your Android devices. But only if you’re willing to burn a $7 hole in your pocket. Too expensive? Well, don’t blame the developers, because after all the game has been a pretty good world-building game before. But the question is? Will the pocked edition be as good as the original game? Probably, if you don’t mind missing out the survival mode well Minecraft Pocket Edition will be a good buy for you. So what will you get for your $7? Minecraft Pocket Edition lets you build on the go, using blocks to create masterpieces. The game features:

  • Randomized worlds
  • Build anything you can imagine
  • Build with 36 different kinds of blocks
  • Invite and play with friends to your world (local wireless network)
  • Save multi-player worlds on your own phone
That’s not a lot, right? Well, if you’re still having doubts on whether you’ll purchase this Android game or not, wait up for our full review in a couple of days. I’m downloading the game right now and will give you my thoughts about the game as soon as I can.
If you can’t wait, well go ahead and say goodbye to your $7.
