Motorola Announces The "Impossibly Thin" DROID RAZR On Verizon Wireless
Earlier today at a special Verizon Wireless and Motorola event, Motorola unveiled the new DROID RAZR Android smartphone. It is the new high-end offering from Motorola and instantly becomes the flagship Android device on Verizon Wireless. In terms of specs, it features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED display, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Android 2.3, an 8MP rear facing camera, HD front facing camera, Kevlar casing which protects the device, Bluetooth 4.0, 32GB of onboard memory, and is only 7.1mm thick. In addition, it comes with 4G LTE connectivity making it an even faster device. Pre-orders for the device will take place on October 27th for $299 on a two year contract. The DROID RAZR is expected to launch sometime in early November. It will be interesting to see if Samsung and Google can up what Motorola and Verizon Wireless did today with the Samsung Galaxy Nexus.
