Motorola Moto X Specs Leaked on Twitter

by On June 15, 2013

Moto X Motorola is one of my favorite companies since I’ve seen “Die Hard” and all these bad guys using encrypted Motorola Walkie Talkies, well, strike that, Motorola Moto X specs were leaked on Twitter today. The leak was obviously not encrypted and it comes from a proven tech-spy, @evleaks by his maiden name. You probably know about him, he’s a cool dude who proved himself with tons of accurate info in the past, so it is very probable he’s got it right this time too. Well, Moto X was rumored for some time now, especially before Google’s I/O conference. Motorola themselves confirmed they are working on the Moto X project during their D11 conference back in May but the device itself wasn’t shown. Actually, one guy at the conference, Motorola’s Woodside, claimed he has the smart phone in his pocket, but I think he was trolling the audience. Moto X Today’s leak from Twitter revealed that the Moto X will have a 720p touch screen, a 1.7 GHz dual core CPU running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon¬† S4 Pro system on chip (MSM8960), also 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage. For multimedia purposes, the Moto X will use a 10 Megapixels main snapper and a 2 megapixels secondary camera. All these will run courtesy of Android 4.2.2 JellyBean. At the aforementioned D11 conference, when Motorola acknowledged the existence of their Moto X device, they also said that Moto X will compete with the top dogs like the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S4, judging from the leaked specs, if accurate, they’re not quite there yet. The Moto X looks more like a mid range Droid, not the Droid I am looking for, sort of speak. Motorola bragged at D11 that the Moto X will come with some cool smart features, Google like, i.e. contextual awareness, which means that the smart phone will recognize what do you want from it and it will modify its settings, just like in that movie, AI. We’ll have to wait and see about that. Source : Twitter
