Motorola XT912A leaks, probably not X Phone

by On March 13, 2013

Just few days ago we were pondering on how the next Google and Motorola phone would look like. Today we have the Motorola XT912A; a phone which we suspect will not be the fabled Motorola X Phone.  The leak comes from a Vietnamese site named Tinhte which immediately states that the smartphone is not the aforementioned Google X Phone, which is quite clear from the screen size. The Motorola XT912A while not being the Google + Motorola wonder phone, still packs some impressive specs. The smartphone is said to boast a 4 inch high definition 720p display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor. According to the site, the CPU however can be even better than the S4 Pro, probably Snapdragon 600. The Motorola XT912A will also pack Adreno 320 GPU and 2 GB of RAM. The only hiccup is the battery which is only 2,000 mAh, while the battery size is respectable, Motorola is famous for packing large batteries in small phones. The smartphone has a curved plastic back which is very thin on towards the edges; we suspect the device will be very comfortable to hold in the hand. There is a camera of unknown resolution and directly beneath it, is the flash. The speakers are oddly placed along the right side of the camera sensor and the speaker grill is not very refined. There is a USB mini port on the bottom and a headphone jack at the top of the smartphone. The words “Motorola confidential property” can be clearly spotted on the device. The most interesting thing about the Motorola XT912A is the almost stock Android 4.2 OS it is running. Apart from the time and weather widget the rest of the interface is technically pure Android. We will update you if more information arrives, until then you can check out the video below. Source – tinhte.vn
