According to a leaked internal Verizon document, the highly rumored and anticipated Motorola Droid 3 will launch through D-Fill on July 7 with the complete, thorough launch on July 14 in all retail chains. We’ve been hearing both dates as possible launch time frames for the Droid 3 for quite some time now, and it looks like both dates are essentially correct. D-Fill refers to when a Verizon Wireless customer upgrades their contract in the store and pays for the phone early, which will then be received by mail. For the majority of our users, plan on purchasing the Droid 3 on July 14th, when it launches in all retail locations. Unfortunately, we still don’t have a price point for the upcoming Motorola Android smartphone, but I’m sure that rumor will be surfacing soon. In my opinion, it will launch for $199 on a two year contract. In terms of specs, it features a 4 inch qHD display, Android 2.3, dual-core 1GHz OMAP processor, five row slider QWERTY keyboard, 8MP rear facing camera, and a VGA front facing camera.
