What started out as an early leak a couple of hours ago has suddenly becomes official as Google was reported to have started rolling out version 3.3.11 of the Android Market app. It’s really a minor update mostly concerning new settings and user interface tweaks. Specifically, the following new features were found on the updated Android Market app. Auto-updating of apps, the ability to update apps over Wi-Fi only, the ability to automatically add shortcuts to your devices’ homescreens for newly installed apps, a better looking app drawer icon (looks more like a shopping bag now), microphone (voice command) button in search menu, star rating chart on app pages and of course a few minor UI tweaks. The updated Android Market app is being pushed out to various devices individually. If you’re not getting it right now and you’re dying to get the update, just do a Google search and you’ll find the direct download link to get the app. Installing the updated Android Market app will replace you’re current installation. After installing it, please do let us know if you notice other new features that we may not have noticed.
