NPR News Android App Gets More Features

Are you using NPR News Android app for reading, listening or creating playlist of your favorite NPR stories? If you do, you’ll be glad to know that the said Android app was just updated bringing in more nice features including a complete revamp of its overall interface and user experience. Specifically, the new NPR News Android app now adds support for more favorite stations, additional programs, and an overall new user interface – making the app easier and more pleasant to use. The app’s overall interface was totally retooled to bring more universal navigation, slicker interactions and new graphics. But perhaps one of the best update given to the app that will definitely like is the app’s functionality to stream the full episode of a radio show continously. This eliminate the previous process of queueing up the radio show in segments one at a time. The Android app still allows you to listen to radio shows one at a time but for specific shows that you would rather listen continously without segmenting them, you can simply add these shows to your playlist. NPR News Android app is available as a free download from the Android Market.
