All signs are pointing towards April 28 as being the pivotal launch date for the HTC Droid Incredible successor, the HTC Droid Incredible 2. The latest piece of evidence is an official spec sheet received by Droid-Life. Given that the 28th is a Thursday, I imagine Verizon Wireless will officially announce the new Droid smartphone on the 25th or 26th. The Droid Incredible 2 is similar to the Droid Incredible we have already come to love, but it contains several new features, which makes it a worthy upgrade. In fact, it will be a world phone allowing for voice and data to take place in over 200 different countries. The onboard storage jumps from 8GB to 16GB. While the 8MP rear facing camera stays the same, the DInc 2 will now support a 1.3MP front facing camera. Lastly, it sports a 4 inch WVGA touch screen and SRS WOW HD Surround Sound. Unfortunately, it will not be the second 4G LTE smartphone on Verizon Wireless. Therefore if 4G LTE is an absolute must for you, I would recommend considering the HTC Thunderbolt.
