As promised, Opera’s full Android web browser is now out in beta and you can start downloading it from the Android Market. Opera Mobile 10.1 Beta promises to bring better browser performance, improved users experience and several nifty features that previous Opera Mobile users have enjoyed.

“Android users now have a better choice when it comes to using a browser on their mobile devices,” said Lars Boilesen, CEO, Opera Software. “With Opera’s new browser for Android, we give users the opportunity to access the Web, using the best tools available.”

Of course one of the major feature that would probably prompt you to download Opera Mobile 10.1 on your Android phone is if it loads faster than other Android web browsers. According to the Opera folks, it actually boasts of faster page loading and is well complimented by fluid panning, scrolling and smooth zooming experience. The Android app also features speed dial which gives you fast and easy access to your favorite websites. It also features a password manager which can save you the hassle of mobile-phone typing. And with Opera Turbo running in the background, Opera assures us that page loading will be faster with 80$ data compression.

Key Features of the Opera Mobile 10.1 Beta Android app include:

  • Easy tab management with visual tabs
  • Opera Presto rendering engine
