PayPal has just updated their mobile Android app bringing a nifty feature which iPhone app users of the same app have been enjoying for quite some time now – mobile check capture. Yes, you read it right, with the updated version of PayPal Android app you can now simply snap a photo of your check and have it credited instantly to your PayPal account. This practically means that you don’t have to go through the hassle of going to the bank or finding an ATM machine to deposit the cheque that you have received. The other new features added to app include – SD card support that allows you to save the app on your Android phone’s SD card freeing up your phone’s internal memory of some space, and find businesses nearby that accept PayPal as payment. These new features add to the already useful features the previous Android app. For those who have not use this Android app, PayPal for Android lets you send money to your friends, manage your account and other activities that you normally do online if you have a PayPal account. The app also lets you send gifts and write checks electronically. PayPal Android app is available now as a free download from the Android Market.
