Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity has arrived on Google Play

by On November 6, 2012

It’s election day today, but it’s also a great day to be a gamer with the release of The Humble Bundle for Android 4 and now Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity. Yup, that strange game we’ve all heard about has finally been released and the title is very fitting to say the least. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Curiosity is the brainchild of Peter Molyneux and 22 cans… it’s also one of the most bizarre gaming concepts we’ve seen. Curiosity basically lets you chip away at a huge cube with the goal of reaching what lies on the inside. As you chip away things will be revealed and you can buy better cube breaking equipment like bombs and pickaxes to give you a boost.  You can also buy equipment outright like the insanely expensive Diamond Pickaxe we’ve all heard so much about.  The tools will definitely speed up your process, along with everyone else’s as you’re not the only one working on the mystery cube… up to a million people will be chipping away at the mega cube at the same time. The prize inside goes to the first one that reaches it and nobody has a clue what it is. Mums the word folks, if anyone knows outside of the company or Molyneux himself they ain’t talking. Curiosity is certainly an interesting concept, and I’ll admit it has gotten my full attention… well kind of. I downloaded this right after it dropped, but just got into the game a few minutes ago due to server issues. The servers have been stable for me since then, but there are some issues as I can’t log into facebook, and can’t buy any gear. Either way it’s definitely a game you’ll want to check out, and it’ guaranteed to pique your Curiosity. You can check out Peter Molyneux’s Curiosity for free on Google Play.
