by On May 31, 2013

samsung galaxy s4 active Even if the official launch of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active is still expected, photos of the rough neck version of the  legendary smart phone  were leaked on the interwebz today, courtesy of a good Samaritan from AT&T probably. The grand master of industrial espionage, the well known internet paparazzi @evleaks provided us with the info, as he managed to put his greedy little hands on what appears to be an AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. The pictures resemble pretty well the initial leaks of the S4 Active in Croatia from  May 20′th. Today’s pictures show very clearly the AT&T logo and also the smart phone’s product name (Galaxy S4 Active), unlike the previously leaked photos, in which this detail was missing. Also the color is different, as in Croatia we’ve seen a red version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active, this time we have a dark grey version with the model number SGH-I537. If these pictures are real, because you never know for sure until the fat lady sings, the Galaxy S4 Active is expected to become available on AT&T in the next few weeks. According to a report from The Unlockr, the smartphone will come in teal also (yes, that’s a color, a bluish green). In terms of design, today’s pictures of  the Galaxy S4 Active look almost identical with the red version’s previously leaked in Croatia, having a metallic chassis with bolt on screws and 3 hard buttons on the front panel. As for tech specs, S4 Active will have a 5 inches  wide Super AMOLED  display, a quad-core 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU, 16 GB of internal memory, an 8 Megapixels shooter capable of taking videos under water,Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, 4G connectivity aka LTE, and will be running on Android 4.2.2 JellyBean, flavored with Samsung’s  TouchWiz User Interface. Even if the official date of its release wasn’t announced yet, rumors have it for June 20-21′th at a media event in London. Source : The Unlockr
