by On May 31, 2011

I’m pretty sure that Plants vs Zombie needs no further introduction. It’s one of the most popular games for iOS devices. The PC version is also well played. And now adding to the list of the game’s iteration is its latest iteration, this time for the Android platforms. Yes folks Plants vs Zombie is now available for your Android phones or Android tablet. The game lets you play the classic cult game in the comforts of your Android devices. It’s a complete port of the iOS game so if you’ve played PVZ on your iPhone or iPod Touch, you’ll surely enjoy playing it again on your Android devices. If you haven’t played the game before – well this is the time. Play it now, play it on your Android phone or Android tablets. But wait, don’t just go looking for Plants vs Zombie on the Google Android Martketplace. Unfortunately, you won’t find it there. PopCap, the game developers released the game only on the Amazon Android App Store. In fact, to celebrate the game’s release for the Android platform, Amazon is offering it for free, only today as part of the App Store’s daily app offerings that won’t cost you a dime. Original price of the game is $2.99. So if you act now, you’ll save your money to but other paid Android apps. As a reminder, while the game maybe a universal Android app, not all Android devices are supported though including the Motorola Droid. And the Amazon Android App Store is available only in the U.S., not all of us will get the game today or in the coming days. The good news is that PopCap is preparing to launch the game on the Google Android Marketplace. via [Amazon]
