They say a rolling stone gathers no moss, but how about a rolling ball of clay? Fat Pebble’s Clay Jam may be able to answer that question as it let you take control of a ball of clay as you try and beat back the Bully Beasts to save the magical land of Clay Jam. Clay Jam is a game that’s all about playing with clay. Everything in the game is made of the stuff, and you get a big ball of it to try and take down the Bully Beasts. The game requires you to roll the ball through the levels while trying to squish things smaller than you. Each time you squish a clay creation it’s added to your ball and at the end of the stage you sling it towards the bully beast. You can also make new clay monsters to squish from the clay you collect rolling around; there are 20 monsters in all and each is just a tab bit weirder than the last. I heard about Clay Jam a little while back, and I must admit it’s just as cool as I thought it would be. I only had a chance to spend maybe 10 minutes with the game, but the world of Clay Jam is a cool one and the physics behind the game are spot on. We’ll have a full write up on Clay Jam next week, if you want to check it out now you can pick it up for free on Google Play.
