While it seems every other market is currently enjoying the high-end likes of the Samsung Galaxy S II, the American market is one notable exception. Other than a few leaks and rumors here and there, not much has been definitively stated about any American carrier launching a Galaxy S II smartphone any time soon. However, it looks like a possible image of the Samsung Galaxy Within, reportedly heading to Sprint, was spotted and leaked to the Internet. The guys over at Thisismynext believe the leaked image you see above is the Samsung Galaxy Within based on the Sprint and Samsung logo, but more importantly, the presence of the 8MP camera. I know, you’re probably thinking there are many smartphones that have a Samsung logo, a Sprint logo, and a 8MP camera, what makes this so special? Well, the only upcoming high-end smartphone made by Samsung for Sprint that we know of is the Galaxy S II. If Sprint wants to compete with Verizon Wireless and the threat of a merger between AT&T and T-Mobile, they are going to need to stack their network with high-end Android devices. And, personally, the Motorola Photon 4G, the HTC EVO 3D, and the Samsung Galaxy Within is quite an impressive lineup.
