Posterous Android App, New Option for Microblogging on the Go

Are you into microblogging and lifestreaming stuff? If you are, well you’ll be glad to know that one major player in the microblogging scene has released a new Android app. Yes, Posterous, the other microblogging service aside from Tumblr and (yes for a time – Twitter) is now on Android. In case you have no idea what Posterous is – well, it’s a dead simple tool for posting and sharing your life by allowing you to send photos, video and a couple of paragraphs to describe what you are saying – that is on your Android phone. The new Posterous Android has a couple of nice features that will either make you start microblogging if you haven’t do so yet. It lets you post to private Posterous group site or photo blog in either landscape or portrait mode. The app also allows you to tag and share your posts and have it autoposted to your Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, LinkedIn and other social networking accounts. With the release of the Posterous Android app, your mobile Posterous site is also no more optimized for best viewing even on a desktop. On your Android phone, you can quickly share photos, videos, bookmarked sites easily via the “Share to” option that will be enabled when using other apps on your Android phone.
