Prepare to be Puzzled with Disney's Where's My Water?

by On November 23, 2011

Where’s My Water? is a brand new physics puzzler from Disney that involves an Alligator named Swampy who lives just wants to be clean. Swampy wants to be more human which involves better hygiene… something the other gators don’t agree with because as we know alligators love those nasty swamps. The other gators are looking to stop Swampy’s new bathing routine by sabotaging his water supply, and it’s up to you to make sure he gets clean. At first I thought Where’s My Water? was going to be Sprinkle clone, but I was pleasantly surprised at the way Disney chose to use their water. Instead of squirting water from a hose, you’re given a reservoir and have to dig down to let the water flow into the pipes that lead to Swampy’s bath.  Of course it won’t be easy as you’ll have to keep an eye out for toxic ooze, traps, and algae that grows when it comes into contact with water. The gameplay coupled with collections, achievements, and a whopping 120 levels means you’ll be able to play Where’s My Water for quite some time. While I haven’t had a chance to give Where’s My Water a full run-through, I have been able to clear the first chapter and can tell you it’s a lot of fun. It may be from Disney and look like a kids game, but don’t be fooled as it’s definitely challenging and adults will enjoy it just as much if not more than kids. The whole game is very well done and I’d expect nothing less from Disney; I also liked the fact they start you out with 120 levels with more to be added in regular updates FREE of charge. That’s nice to hear at a time when a lot of developers are charging for additional levels. Expect a full review of Where’s My Water? after Turkey day, until then you should head on over to the market and pick it up for the low price of $0.99.
