IFA 2011 starts September 1st and lasts for a few days, and during that time Samsung is expected to introduce a newer version of the Galaxy S II.  The upgraded version features LTE and 4G connectivity among a larger screen at 4.5 inches, and a dual core 1.5GHz processor.  Otherwise, it contains the same set of feature such as the 8MP rear facing camera, flash, front facing camera, WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, and Android 2.3. Since Verizon Wireless took a pass on the Galaxy S II, some are expecting Verizon to introduce a similarly spec’d smartphone (to the revamped Galaxy S II) to launch in October running Android Ice Cream Sandwich with 4G LTE access.
