Starting February 5th, the highly-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note will be available for pre-order on AT&T for $299 on a two year contract. The Galaxy Note is expected to launch on February 19th, according to an announcement by AT&T earlier today. The high price point matches with the price tag Verizon usually reserves for its high-end 4G LTE devices. If the Galaxy Note is pre-ordered starting February 5th, then it will be delivered on February 17th — two days before it officially launches. The high-end Android 2.3 smartphone boasts a 5.3 inch touch screen display as its distinctive feature. The large screen represents an interesting foray into the tablet market previously attempted by the Dell Streak 5 and the Kyocera Echo. The Galaxy Note has achieved success in the European and Korean markets, so we expect it do fairly well in the United States as well. It is equipped with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 8MP rear facing camera, 2MP front facing camera, LTE, Android 2.3, and it will be upgraded to Android 4.0 in the near future.
