Samsung Galaxy S4 might come with S-Pen

by On December 30, 2012

Ah the sweet time of rumor harvest is upon us, with no certainty what the next year might bring. Samsung Galaxy S4 is no doubt on top of the list, and why wouldn’t it be. Last year was thoroughly dominated by Samsung and its Galaxy line up. Even though the Galaxy Note 2 generated enough sales to warrant its success, the clear winner was the stellar Galaxy S3. With more than 30 million units sold, the Galaxy S3 is without a doubt the most popular Android device of 2012. And usually when a brand gets this amount of fame, the next iteration also gains large amounts of attention and speculations. It is after all only natural for one to wonder what the Samsung Galaxy S4 might come out like. After all the success its younger brother amassed, Samsung will probably be giving it all in order to mimic the glory of 2012. There were numerous rumors about the device; some “leaked” the alleged specs of the smartphone while some predicted the launch dates. Samsung sure know how to keep a tightly held secret, a secret. If the latest rumors are to be believed the Samsung Galaxy S4 will ship with S-Pen functionality. Yes the same S-Pen which is associated with the Galaxy Note line up (Note, Note 2 and Note 10.1). This may suggest that Samsung is adapting a more “innovative” approach while designing its next flagship smartphone. Or it may mean that Samsung might decide to eliminate the Note smartphone line up all together. By making the Galaxy S4 a bit larger and adding the S-Pen, Samsung might remove some of the charm the Note series has. Other rumors say that the next Galaxy phone will feature a 5 inch full HD 1080p screen, as 720p is no longer in style. A powerful quad core Exynos 5440 SoC processor along with 2 GB worth of RAM and a 13 MP rear facing camera. Some are even suggesting that Samsung Galaxy S4 will ship with Android Key Lime Pie as its operating system. Well these kinds of rumors are best satisfied by the real deal and looks like we will have to wait a little while longer to see what Samsung has in store for us.
