According to a product pre-order page through Three Sweden, Samsung has a smartphone dubbed the Galaxy Z that looks to be a slightly less powerful version of the iconic Galaxy S II device. Purely based on the specs, I’d say it is still a high-end Android smartphone that would perform well in any market, but compared against the mighty Galaxy S II, its specs become slightly less impressive. In any case, the Galaxy Z features a 4.2 inch Super Clear LCD display, Android 2.3, a 1GHz dual-core processor, WiFi, GPS, 5MP rear faincg camera, and 8GB of onboard memory. Three Sweden is pricing the device at 3995 SEK, which equals about $632. The price is most likely off contract, so don’t let it scare you away. Unfortunately, we have no idea if Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Z in other markets as well.
