The Samsung Hercules may be T-Mobiles rendition of the Galaxy S II device, or it could simply be T-Mobile’s version of the Infuse 4G on AT&T. In any case, it packs a lot of powerful specs that are sure to entice any Android fan looking to sign a contract with T-Mobile. According to the latest rumor, the Samsung Hercules is expected to launch with T-Mobile in late September, but TmoNews thinks the date will be September 26th. Between now and the expected launch date, I’m sure many more rumors and leaks will surface providing more information about the launch date. In terms of specs and features, the Hercules boasts a 4.5 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core 1.2GHz processor, HSPA+ support, NFC, Android 2.3, 16GB of onboard memory, 1GB of RAM, 8MP rear facing camera, 1080p video capture, and a VGA front facing camera. On the paper, the new phone by Samsung seems very deserving of its mythological name. We’ll have to see how it stacks up against other superphones that are likely to launch in September.
