Samsung unveils the Samsung Galaxy S4 to the World
For the past several years Samsung has fired up the hype machine for the release of a new Galaxy phone, and this year has been just as crazy as the past two. The Samsung Galaxy S4 has finally been announced, and now it’s time to take a look at the facts and put the rumors to rest. A lot of the things we heard about turned out to be true including Smart Scroll and Pause. Other things were a bit of a surprise like the S-Translate feature and the insanely cool dual camera function that lets you put yourself in videos while you record with both the front and back cameras. There’s a lot you can do with a function like that, especially if you’re in to sharing videos and YouTube. As for the specs…
- 5” Full HD Super AMOLED display with 441 ppi
- 1.8GHz Octa-core or 1.6GHz (may vary by region)
- 2GB Ram LPDDR3 2GB RAM
- IR LED Remote
- 13MP front camera & 2MP back camera
- 4G LTE with download speeds of up to 100MBps and uploads of around 50MBps
- Android 4.2.
- 16/32/64 GB of storage
- Micro SD slot
- 7mm thin, 130 grams
As beastly as the phone will be it’s also packed to the brim with new features. They talked about pictures with sound, Air View, S-Translator, Group Play, S-Health, Samsung Knox Security, and Home Sync just to name a few. One of my personal favorites was the translucent notification bar, nice touch. The Samsung Galaxy S4 presser was a good one, and needless to say… Sammy brought it. Oddly enough they didn’t announce a release date or pricing which are two things people are dying to know. Either way, whenever the Galaxy S4 is released you can bet it’ll be the hottest selling phone around.
