Amazon still lags behind Google Play in terms of quantity and quality, but occasionally they get exclusives that rock your socks off. Scribblenauts Remix is one of those exclusives and its hands down the best Android game we’ve seen Amazon snag before Google Play. Scribblenauts Remix is a mobile game comprised with levels from the original Scribblenauts and Super Scribblenauts with 10 new levels thrown in for good measure. The game has been out for quite some time on iOS, and even managed to knock Angry Birds from the top spot soon after it was released in late 2011. That’s no small feat, but it may leave you wondering what’s so special about Scribblenauts? Well, if you’re not familiar with the game, here’s the skinny… Scribblenauts Remix is a side-scrolling adventure game of sorts that has you use your vocabulary to make it through each stage. While you won’t issue voice commands, you will use text input to add objects to each level which is quite a bit of fun. Need a ladder to make a jump? No problem, just type ladder and you’ll get one. If your ladder won’t reach you can always type up a Pegasus or another flying contraption. Even cooler is the fact that you can add characteristics to objects like the “Big Blue Desk” I added in the school stage you see in the screenshot below. I heard about Scribblenauts ages ago, but it’s one of those games I just never got around to playing. While I’m surprised Amazon gets the game first, it’s good news for all Android gamers as Scribblenauts Remix is awesome and a game everyone should check out. We’ll have a full review of this one up next week, until then I highly advise you to check it out for yourself over on Amazon’s App store.
