Skype Android App Updates, Add Supports for More Devices

Skype has just updated its Android app to version 2.5 adding support for additional 15 Android devices including the Motorola Atrix and Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 among other Android devices. Aside from adding support these Android devices, the Skype app also has brought in video enhancements when on a Skype video call. In addition, you can now also switch between portrait and landscape modes during video calls as well as zoom in with a simple double tap on the screen The update also improved the app’s support for using Bluetooth headsets as well as the usual round of bug fixes and enhancements. All to improve your video calling experience. And here’s something that most Skype users might not like, according to Skype the updated app will also bring in an advertising platform which will not show up if you’re using Skype Credit or on Skype Premium subscription.
