Launching June 24 are two new exciting Android devices on the Sprint network. The HTC EVO 3D and the HTC EVO View 4G are two new 4G devices that will launch for $199 and $399 on a two year contract, respectively. The HTC EVO 3D is a highly anticipated smartphone running a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Android 2.3, a glasses-free 3D 4.3 inch qHD display, and dual 5MP rear facing cameras for 3D video capture. Like with most smartphones on Sprint, the EVO 3D will require the premium data add-on charge of $10. Pre-orders can be placed for the device by purchasing a $50 Sprint gift card. The HTC EVO View 4G is similar in design to the HTC Flyer that launched earlier this month, but it sports a WiMAX radio for support with Sprint’s 4G network. In addition, it features a 7 inch touch display, Android 2.3, 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, and for a limited time, Sprint will toss in a free Sylus with the purchase of a HTC EVO View. Lastly, Sprint plans to upgrade the View to Android 3.0 at a later date in the future. As I previously mentioned, the price for the EVO View 4G on a two year contract is $399, which is relatively inexpensive, but being tied down to a two year contract makes the overall cost pretty expensive.
