Sprint today issued a press release detailing the availability and pricing of the highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy Tab. According to the American carrier, the Samsung Galaxy Tab will be available on November 14 for the subsidized price of $399. Of course, this price comes with a catch in the form of a required data plan. On a two year agreement, customers can choose between a 2GB data plan for $29.99 a month or a 5GB data plan with unlimited messaging for $59.99. You may remember Verizon is offering their Galaxy Tab for $599, but that doesn’t come with any contract restrictions. In the end, it comes down to how much freedom you would like with your device. In case you already know you want the Galaxy Tab with Sprint, you can pre-order the device starting today with a purchase of a Sprint $50 gift card. If you choose to wait to see what AT&T and T-Mobile announce, then you can wait until Sprint officially launches the Galaxy Tab.
