After being delayed for a couple of weeks at U.S. Customs, the HTC EVO 4G LTE recently got the green light to pass through. The customers who pre-ordered the device through Sprint already received their smartphone. However, for the rest of the customers who did not pre-order it the EVO 4G LTE will officially launch on June 2 for $199 on a two year contract. Sprint confirmed the information through its Community Message board and I am sure the information was well received. It’s unfortunate for Sprint and HTC that the Android flagship smartphone had to be delayed for a reason that should have been resolved. However, we’re hoping the EVO 4G LTE turns out to be a great phone for Sprint despite its unforeseen delay in launch.
