Coming October 12th are two new Android superphones on T-Mobile. Since T-Mobile hasn’t launched a new smartphone since the HTC myTouch 4G Slide and the HTC Sensation, they are overdue for a new flagship smartphone. Today, T-Mobile officially took the wraps off the upcoming HTC Amaze 4G and announced some more information regarding the Samsung Galaxy S II.

Starting October 12th, the HTC Amaze (which runs on T-Mobile’s 42Mbps 4G network) will be available for $259.99 on a two year contract. Secondly, we have the Samsung Galaxy S II, which will also operate on T-Mobile’s HSPA+ 42Mbps network. In terms of processor speed, the Galaxy S II boasts a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. In addition, it features a 4.52 inch Super AMOLED Plus display, Android 2.3.5, and features NFC. On October 12th, the Galaxy S II will cost $229 on a two year contract.
