If you grew up watching Jurassic Park or ever wanted to hunt a Dinosaur, Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter HD from Tatem Games can help you out. This new Android game lets you play the role of a Big Game Hunter, and when we say “Big Game” we mean at as you track down and hunt some of the biggest animals of the prehistoric era… Sometime around the middle of last week Tatem Games dropped Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter into the wild and my time took a big hit. Hunting games are a natural fit for Android devices, but Dinosaur Hunting?? Count me in, sign me up, and tell my family I’ll be away for awhile. I’ll go ahead and tell you the game looks great and there are some cool features I didn’t quite expect like the “Dinosaur Call” or being able to choose the time of day you want to hunt. I also didn’t expect a credit system where you’re given a set amount of credits to put your hunt together with every time you go out. I really haven’t had a chance to spend too much time with the game yet, but from what I’ve seen there’s a lot to do and many different dinosaurs to hunt down. I was also surprised at how well the game looks and runs on my OG Captivate which is quite a feat considering its 2 years old and has been wiped, dropped, thrown and generally put through technical hell.
Certain things just make you say “Wow… Cool!” as you go through life and games that let you hunt dinosaurs are one of those things. From what I’ve seen of Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter so far it appears to be a top-notch game all around, and it’s very easy on the eyes. I did notice a big, blaring plug for “Pro Hunting Bundles” which lets you know that all of the game isn’t free although everyone should be used to that by now. Either way, it lets you hunt dinosaurs so if you’ve got an ounce of man or gamer in you you’ll probably try this one out if you haven’t already.
