The Dual-Core HTC Vision?

by On July 9, 2010

I have to say I am thoroughly impressed and glad to see that T-Mobile will finally be bringing a true powerhouse phone into their market. It may in fact be the most powerful Android cell phone yet. Now admittedly like any speculation, the specifics of the phone are, well, speculation. I have heard everything from this being a dual-core 800 MHz ARM processor to a 1 GHz Snapdragon, but which ever way it goes the phone will certainly be powerful. The most detailed account of the phone can be found on a  Croatian blog njuskalo.hr, which has an image (seen above) of what appears to be the HTC Vision; one of HTC’s first high-end, full-QWERTY Android offerings. Nothing has been confirmed and details are extremely scarce, however njuskalo.hr sources indicate that the device has a 3.7″ touch-screen, 1 GHz processor and Android 2.1. From the image we can see a full-QWERTY slide-out keyboard (reminiscent of the Touch Pro 2), optical trackpad, and the units apparent use of a SIM card. Other features may include a 8 Mega-Pixel camera, the first Android phone to carry the gingerbread 3.0 OS, be HPSA+ compatible (21Mbps cellular Internet), an HDMI mini connection, and of course the God-like powers to make toast on demand. Best we can do for now is hope for the awesomeness to come and soon.
