If you are among those guys (just like me) who can’t afford to spend $200 on a tablet, MSI has a solution for you; it’s called the MSI Enjoy 71 tablet. So you don’t have the dough to buy the Nexus 7 or Kindle Fire HD but you have scourged around $172 bucks, well you are in luck today. The Enjoy 71 costs just that. But if you live in anywhere apart from Taiwan, well tough luck mate, as the Enjoy 71 was only announced in Taiwan. While there is no proper word about its availability in other regions, we are sure that MSI will be looking into the matter. So what will that $172 will get you? If you are thinking that the low price will yield low quality product, then you are wrong. The MSI Enjoy 71 although is quite cheap, but packs a hefty punch (for its price). For one, the Enjoy 71 is much lighter than the Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7. The Enjoy 71 weighs 10.5 ounces while Acer’s tablet weighs 12.1 and Kindle Fire at 13.9. Secondly the Enjoy 71 features a metallic finish, which is a far cry from the plastic bodies the other “expensive” 7 inch tablets use. The MSI Enjoy 71 has a 1.5 GHz dual core Amlogic AML8726-MX processor along with Mali 400 GPU, not a powerful combo but it will get the job done. The Enjoy 71 features a rather low resolution 7 inch IPS display (1024 x 600) and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, well you lose some to get some. The tablet also comes with a measly 8 GB of internal memory but it can be expanded up to 32 GB via microSD card. There is also a 2 MP rear facing camera and a 0.3 MP front facing one. The Enjoy 71 also packs a 3200 mAh battery. We will update you as more comes to light.
