The Top 10 Glu Mobile Games for Android

by On September 17, 2012

Glu Mobile has been cranking out games for awhile now so we though it was time to finally sit down, make a list and pick out the Top 10 Glu Mobile games for Android. They’ve covered almost every genre you can think of from hunting and gladiator games to games that make you an A-list celebrity. I’ve honestly played almost everything they’ve put out for Android over the years, and they are one of the only publishers I can think of that put out top-notch games on a consistent basis. Without further ado, we proudly present our picks for The Top 10 Glu Mobile games for Android…

1. Gun Bros Multiplayer

Gun Bros is an awesome little dual-stick shooter that puts you to work as one of two juiced up brothers known as the Gun Bros. You’ll get to battle across several different planets, and the game has 3 different modes of play with Classic Single Player, Live Multi-Player, and the always popular Deathmatch. It’s the oldest game on our list, but it’s also one of the best and if you dig dual-stick action packed shooters you’ll definitely want to check it out.

2. Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombie

If you enjoy shooters chances are you’ve played a Call of Duty game, and if you have you’ll definitely want to check out Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies for Android. COD Zombies puts your reflexes to the test as you take on 3 fan-favorite maps, and the 50 stage gauntlet known as Dead-Ops Arcade. I just started playing this one last week, and have been totally hooked as well as surprised by how large the maps are. I know that some folks have had compatibility issues, but I’ve had no problem running the game on my Galaxy S3 or Asus 300 Tab. It’s the only game on our list with a price tag, but its well worth the $6.99 in my opinion.

3. Eternity Warriors 2

Eternity Warriors 2 sends you to war again as you’re tasked with taking down the Demon Towers and annihilating the demon armies. You’ll hack and slash your way through countless enemies as you upgrade your gear and collect loot so you can become the baddest Eternity Warrior in Udar. It’s pretty safe to say that if you enjoyed the first one you’ll dig this one, and you can even team up with a buddy in the games Online Co-op mode.

4. Bombshells: Hell’s Belles

The villainous T.O.O.L’s from Gun Bros are back, and Bombshells: Hell’s Belles lets you blast them out of the sky with four fearless female flyers. The game is all about aerial warfare and you’re going to get a lot of cool gear as there are over 200 different items in the game like planes, cannons, and missile launchers. You can get by with a little help from your friend as well as Bombshells: Hell’s Belles uses online-multiplayer to extend the gameplay experience. It’s one of Glu’s newest games, but it’s also one of their best and well worth a look if you’re looking to get into a little aerial combat.

5. Blood & Glory: Legend

Blood & Glory: Legend is the follow-up to Glu’s popular gladiator game Blood & Glory. The gameplay basically stays the same, but the sequel brings quite a few new things to the table in the form of new gladiators, weapons, and arenas. The layout has also been improved and you get a cool motion comic storyline that follows your journey through the game.

6. Contract Killer: Zombies (NR)

I’m a sucker for Sniper games, and Contract Killer was one of the first one’s I ever played for Android. Contract Killer: Zombies took things up a notch as they took everything that made the original popular and added a few thousand zombies into the mix. You’ll have to stay alive in a city filled with zombies while saving survivors and mowing down the undead. In true apocalyptic fashion you’ll get plenty of awesome weapons to use, and there’s even a few Helicopter based missions to take on as well.

7. Lil’ Kingdom

Lil’ Kingdom is the 3rd building game to make our list, but this one’s a bit different from the rest in style and the way you actually build. While most games have you going side-to-side or up Lil’ Kingdom actually has you build downwards, and you’ll have to dig deep to build your perfect kingdom. If you’re looking for a building game with dragons, knights, and princesses Lil’ Kingdom is just the game for you.

8. Toy Village

Toy Village is another great building game from the folks at Glu and one of my personal all-time favorites as it involves toys! A storm has torn down Smalltown and the local Toy Shop, and your job is to help Patch rebuild the village so the lost toys can have a new home. You’ll put up all sorts of colorful buildings, shops, and decorations as you try and build the best Toy Village around. I really love the style of the game, but it’s also got plenty of substance as it’s a solid building game all around.

9. Deer Hunter Reloaded

Deer Hunter Reloaded isn’t the first Hunting game from Glu, but it’s by far the best and it introduces you to the awesomeness known as the X-Ray Mode. You’ll get to bag animals that range from Bears and Deer to Moose as you take on a variety of challenges set in the wilderness of North America. There are plenty of challenges & weapons, and if you’re looking for a great hunting game look no further.

10. Small Street

If you enjoy city building games Glu Mobile’s Small Street is a game you’ll want to check out as you get to build a lil’ town full of businesses and apartments. That’s only half of it though as you’ll have to keep your little guys happy by giving them jobs and stocking your shops with products for them to buy. There are plenty of buildings to put up and more than enough tasks to keep you busy for quite some time. Small Street is also a great building game for the younger crowd as the graphics are bright & colorful and it’s easy enough for anyone to pick up and play.
