It’s a short list this week as there weren’t many quality Android apps released last week. That being said, we still managed to scrounge up a few Android apps that are worth a look so here we go with our list of the Top Android Apps of the Week…
As Thanksgiving gets closer so do those elusive Black Friday deals. I was in the thick of things last year with and the BFAds website really helped me out. This year they have an official app and it’s the app to have if you want to find out what’s going on with Black Friday. I’ll be taking a closer look at this one later in the week, but highly advise you to give it a go now if you’re looking to pick up some great Black Friday deals.
The Silent Movie Maker app lets you convert your mobile mp4 movies into the silent movies of yesteryear. The app works to give your movies a vintage look by converting them into black & white or sepia tone. You can also add artifacts and play around with brightness along with the contrast to make your modern day film look like a vintage masterpiece. It’s a cool app and you can snag it for free on Google Play.
If you hate having to adjust the volume on your Android device an app like Smart Volume Control can really come in handy. It lets you setup fully customizable sound profiles that let you control the volume along with several other settings. You’ll also get 23 widgets along with the ability to switch profiles by timer, location, and calendar events. It’s a slick little app and you can get it for free on Google Play.
Presentations mobile is a good app to have on hand if you deal with PowerPoint a lot as it allows you to view your presentations exactly as they appear on your PC. You can open, edit, and save all your files and you’ll even be able to access documents directly from Google Drive, Dropbox, and Evernote. If you want to give it a go you can pick up SoftMaker Software’s Office 2012: Presentations for $7.99 on Google Play.
DroidXPlorer is a handy little Android App that lets you use an active WiFi connection to browse your phone. The app uses a web browser to work its magic as it allows you to do all sorts of things like transfer files, rename folder, and stream audio & video from your phone. It’s easy to use and it’s free to download on Google Play.
