1. Mr. Mixit

Mr. Mixit is a new game from HD Interactive that puts a unique twist on the classic puzzle game. You’ll have to pick two images from the screen you think will match, and use the turntable to spin the images together. It starts out easy, but gets pretty difficult as the game progresses. There are thousands of combinations you can put together which will give you countless hours of gameplay. The game has an urban vibe, and a cool techno soundtrack as well. Mr. Mixit is a unique game that will keep you puzzled for hours. There isn’t a free version, but it only costs 1.00. You can pick up Mr. Mixit in the Android market.


2. Death Worm

The popular indie game Death Worm has finally made its way to the Android market. The game puts you in control of a giant monster worm who’s only job is to wreak havoc. You can eat people, animals, destroy tanks, bring down planes and more. There are 45 levels spread over three different locations, as well as 2 bonus mini-games. There are also 30 different types of enemies, and 3 different worms. It’s an odd game, but a whole lot of fun. You can grab Death Worm in the Android Market for $2.99.


3. CNN App for Android Phones

The new CNN App for Android Phones will make sure that your always updated on the latest news. It allows you to watch live video, iReports, and listen to CNN Radio all from your Android phone. You can set the program to send breaking news notifications to your home screen or customize the widget to include just the headlines you want. It’s really a great, well-rounded news app, and it’s totally free.


4. Robot Unicorn Attack

If you like quirky games, you will want to check out Robot Unicorn Attack from Adult Swim. In this game, you take on the role of a Robotic Unicorn who… well, it’s kind of hard to explain. You basically jump/soar through the air while avoiding obstacles, and you do it all to a bizarre song from Erasure. The Unicorn leaves rainbows in its wake whenever it jumps, and has a rainbow powered dash attack that can take out some obstacles. You have 3 wishes every time you die you and lose a wish your Unicorn dies a fiery death. It is a Robot Unicorn after all. If you would like to try Robot Unicorn Attack, you can get it for .99 in the market.


5. Heart Attack

Heart Attack is an addictive game that will test your reflexes, as well as your patience. Cards will flip over on the screen, and you’ll have to tap the right card when it pops up. If you tap the wrong one, or do it too slowly… you lose. It has single-player mode and the ability to play against three friends on one device.


 

6. Football Kicks

If you’re a soccer fan, you’ll like Football Kicks. It’s a new android game about mastering your free kicks on the pitch. There are three different game modes with beat the wall, beat the clock, and sudden death. You get “FK” coins as a reward for playing the game and can spend them to unlock extra stadiums or get a customized kit. It has Openfeint, which will let you compare your top scores against others. Football Kicks has slick graphics, and best of all it’s free.


7. Jane’s Hotel

Jane’s Hotel is a new time management game that allows players to manage and upgrade a hotel. You’ll start out running a 2-star hotel, and will work your way up through upgrades & achievements until you get that 5-star rating. You’ll have to keep your customers happy through a variety of tasks as well. There are 40 levels to play and many different upgrades. Jane’s Hotel is available for $2.99 in the Market.


8. Sheep Rescue

Sheep Rescue lets you catch animals by lassoing them with your finger. You have a limited number of lasso’s, and have to catch animals of the same kind with each lasso. You can’t catch pigs with sheep, and you’ll have to watch out for the foxes. If you catch a fox he’ll break the rope, and you lose a lasso. It’s very quick to pick up & play, and is a lot of fun. Sheep Rescue is in Beta at the moment, but I had no issues running it. You can pick up Sheep Rescue for free in the market.


9. Hot Springs Story

Developer Kairosoft brought us the popular Game Dev Story, and now they are back with Hot Springs Story. Think Game Dev story set in a Spa, and you’ll get a good idea of what this game is about. Your goal is to build the best Hot Spring Resort around, and manage your finances while doing it. There are several types of rooms to build that will attract different types of customers. If it’s half as fun as Game Dev Story, it will be a popular game. You can get Hot Springs Story in the market for $5.45.


10. Super Fishing

In Super Fishing, the goal is to catch as many fish as you can before the clock runs out. You’ll also have to stay away from the clouds, or you’ll be struck by lightning. You get points for every fish you catch some fish will give you more points than other. The water is full of junk, and you will lose time & points if you catch junk by mistake. Super Fishing is a fun time killer with an old-school vibe.
