The Motorola DROID 4 was initially announced during CES 2012, but information relating to pricing and availability were never disclosed at the time. Prior to CES 2012, the DROID 4 came up in numerous leaks as the obvious successor and replacement to the DROID 3. Several months after the initial rumors surfaced, we can finally close the book on the DROID 4 for the most part. Starting February 10th, the 4G LTE, 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 5 row Slider QWERTY keyboard beast will be available for $199 on a two year contract. The DROID 4 will run android 2.3.5 out of the box, 4 inch qHD display, 8MP rear facing camera, front facing camera, and 16GB of onboard storage. It is said to be physically similar to the Motorola DROID RAZR and will represent the high-end 4G LTE Slider QWERTY option on Verizon Wireless. Again, it will be available in just three days on Verizon Wireless for those interested in this device.
