On the day of the official pre-order for the Motorola Droid 2, Verizon Wireless also posted a promotional video for the Droid 2 shown below. The video highlights some of the Droid 2’s key features such as 3G Mobile hotspot, Android 2.2, Adobe Flash 10.1, and the ability to speak, type, or Swype text. The video does a good job of showing off the Droid 2’s sleek body and functionality. While the video may not be as cool as some of the Droid X’s promotional videos, it certainly gets the job done by making the consumers excited. In addition, the Motorola Droid 2 is finally available for pre-order meaning the phone will ship tomorrow when it officially launches. Feel free to click here, which will take you to the Verizon Wireless online store in case you want to pre-order immediately. If you are interested in the Motorola Droid 2, I suggest you pre-order or purchase one fast when it launches, because the Motorola Droid X isn’t even shipping until August 26. Lastly, the Motorola Droid 2 has finally made its appearance on the DroidDoes website, a splash page which now showcases the Motorola Droid 2, Motorola Droid X, and the HTC Droid Incredible. In addition, Verizon Wireless also launched the official R2-D2 Droid 2 teaser page. Remember, the special edition R2-D2 Droid 2 phone will not be available until September.
