You’ve heard about it, you’ve watched the funny videos, and now you can finally see what all the fuss is about. Vine for Android has officially been released, and it’s the coolest way to make and share short video clips with friends and followers. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Vine for Android is a simple little app that allows you to make short, looping 6-second videos of anything you’d like. Vine was purchased by Twitter last year, and has exploded over the past few months thanks to thousands of creative iOS users and videos like “Ryan Gosling won’t eat his cereal”. That one never gets old. The app is extremely easy to use, and you’ll have just as much fun browsing videos as you will making them. While Vine for Android is finally out, there are some changes from the iOS version. Front-facing camera support, hashtags, search, and mentions are missing, but we get a “zoom” function that isn’t available in the iOS app. The developers have already said that the missing features are on the way so no worries. If you haven’t played around with Vine yet, there’s no time like the present, just be sure to clear us some free time first. You can hit up the link below to pick up Vine for Android for free.
