I was given free access to the beta version of Jamcast Player and have been using it on my Samsung Galaxy S II paired Windows Desktop. Quiet surprisingly, Jamcast Player indeed streams music flawlessly. It was as if the digital music is stored in your Android device. The gapless playback feature is indeed true.

Installing and setting up the Jamcast Server was pretty easy as well. I was able to connect my Samsung Galaxy S II to the Jamcast Server on my desktop and was able to immediately stream my digital content from my PC to my phone.

Overall, ¬†Jamcast Player is a good streaming music player. If you don’t mind paying extra for the Jamcast Server for Windows, I’m pretty sure you’ll love the Jamcast Android app and what it can do for you.

Jamcast Player is available now as a free download from the Android Market.
