Thoughts:
I’ve rooted my Motorola Droid recently and started looking for appropriate apps to delete cache, disable starting of annoying apps, backuping data and so on. This app declares several features I need at once. I’ve used cache cleaning and startup manager heavily and it works perfectly. It caches some data on the first launch and then it shows application lists and configuration pages much quicker than managers I’ve used previously. On the other side the app shows actual device state at any time, it doesn’t cache this sort of data.

The usability of the app is a great point of the app. You can execute every command on all the pages with a popup dialog. Notification link in the status bar is customized. Initially it brings to task manager but you can change destination to every page.

Devices without root privileges can’t use all the power of the utility. Although the app can manage declared features without root access but I did not verify it myself. Startup manager has two different ui for root and not root configurations.

The developers are responsive, they’ve fixed most of the bugs traced in market reviews. The app was published 2 months ago and new versions comes at least twice a week.

I don’t want to describe details of every function. There are lots of information about implemented features on their site. Every feature can be scheduled (interval, on boot).
