Customization is one thing that most of us love about having an Android and wallpapers & ringtones are usually the first steps people take when customizing their phones. There are a lot of options out there, but one called Zedge Ringtones & Wallpapers stands head and shoulders above the rest.
The Zedge Ringtones & Wallpapers app has been around for awhile now, and I’ve been using it since I first got an Android phone. It’s also safe to say it’s pretty popular as they’ve amassed 10 and 50 million downloads thus far; I know there’s a big discrepancy between 10 & 50, but that’s Google… what can you do. As for the app itself, it’s simple to use and has more apps & ringtones than you’ve likely ever seen in one spot. There are around 65,000 wallpapers, 500,000 ringtones, and 86,000 notification sounds. The wallpapers are all categorized and sortable through several different filters while the ringtones & notifications are done the same way. I haven’t perused the ringtones all that much as I stick with my “good, bad & the ugly” ringtone, but the wallpapers are a different story.
I’ve spent hours browsing their selection and always find 10-20 new ones to download every time. Everything I looked at was High Quality and I didn’t see much junk on the site if any. Once you find the perfect wallpaper or ringtone you can set it to be your main one from within the app so there’s no fooling around in your phones settings or long pressing on the screen. The Zedge app can be set to “auto change” wallpapers, lets you live sync with your online favorites, and there’s even a widget for switching wallpapers from your desktop as well.
Zedge Ringtones & Wallpapers has been one of my favorites for awhile now, and it’s one app I always have on my phone or tablet. If you’ve never heard of Zedge or are looking for a good wallpaper/ringtone app I would highly recommend checking it out. If you want to give it a go you can find Zedge Ringtones & Wallpapers on Google Play for free.
